Shopping Early

As a routine, we do our grocery shopping every Saturday with my daughter and husband as a family. We left home around 8:30 a.m. and headed to where we want to go. We even stop at Lowes for some of my husband's stuff. We got home early as a result of leaving early as we used to.

Snow flurries was all over on our way but it stop on our way home and now it started again. The sun is out but it is windy and it is cold to be outside which i was planning originally of spending some time outside today but i guess might  just do it tomorrow.

Christmas with My Filipino Family-2010

Things happen for a reason. I insisted so hard to my husband that i want to go to Philippines for a vacation when our daughter was only a year old or two but for him she was too young to travel and might be only a pain in the butt to attend her needs.

Finally, our longing vacation had happened and she is over three years of age which i had no regrets yet thankful that she managed the traveled so well. My daughter first Philippine Christmas vacation and it really means a lot to me. She had a blasts celebrating Christmas with my whole family and relatives. She lit fireworks, ate Filipino typical food during Christmas and all the practices that were performed during Christmas over in the Philippines.

My most memorable moment in a way that i traveled with my daughter. Had all this courage traveling back and forth despite of all the heavy carry on baggage and check-in of ours plus the fact that it would be the biggest test for my daughter's to managed the tropical climate. Was been sick but still worth the fun!

My precious family

My daughter with her teddy and a Christmas tree that she was love picking on the ornaments.

Holding the candles to lit the fireworks - good job my love.

My daughter and her cousin Nicole busy opening their gifts!

Went to church and lighted candles. My daughter's first time to experienced this practice it was December 25th of 2010.

Christmas trees outside the church. So pretty and so hard to resist. Just one of their awesome Christmas trees to look at.

Philippine Vacation 2010 - 2011

December first of 2010 when my daughter and i  left our US residence for Philippine vacation a little over two months ago. There were myriad emotion involved while stepping out the door's house knowing that my husband would be alone for the very first time and to see the reaction of my family and for them to see my daughter for the very first time and was not sure how my daughter's going to react towards my family.

The travel from JFK airport going to Japan was been smooth and from Japan to Manila was too. My daughter managed her traveling experienced so well i was impressed as it was her first time to be in the plane surrounded with passengers who were all strangers to her.

We met good people and made some good friends. We reached NAIA airport in December second which is an international airport in Philippines and rode a shuttle bus that took us to PAL for our domestic flight the next day/morning which was in December third still were lucky enough to met and made some friends. The manila to our domestic flight was been fine at first and towards the end of the flight my daughter started crying, throwing tantrums. Took her to the lavatory and we spent our last 20 minutes inside pampering her, calming her down but she was really terrible and kept saying she was HOT! Poor little girl.

Such a great moment to see my family outside the arrival area. Daughter first reaction was so silent and gradually started to warmed herself up and started talking to everybody specially to my niece Nicole whose over four years old, a year older than my daughter.

Taken when she was in line changing flight from Japan going to Manila, Philippines. Mommy's little traveler.

Photos of people that she and i met and made inside PAL airport.
My baby inside the plane owning her own seat looking like a big girl. This flight was from JFK to Japan.
