Friends of Pfister: Saving with Rebuilding Together

This post brought to you by Pfister. All opinions are 100% mine.

We are lucky as we own our house but we are responsible of making it safer for our kids. Every time a problem occurs like plumbing it could cost us a fortune because we have to call a plumber to fix the problem. And, when it is cold season we have to pay someone to make the house windows and doors safe from holes to make the house stay warm.

When I heard about Pfister I was really grateful because they partnered with Rebuilding Together helping people making their house safer, warmer and efficient. Rebuilding Together is a non profit organization providing critical home repairs, modifications and improvements for America's low-income home owners. While Pfister has been a leader in the plumbing industry for nearly 100 years. There are 3.4 volunteers who helped rebuilds the homes and lives of the nation's most vulnerable homeowners and families for no cost.

Building a Bird Feeder at Home Depot

Taken Saturday inside Home Depot. Our daughter built her first bird feeder with the help of her Daddy. Mommy was taking the photos while the baby brother was busy napping. There were many kids who attended the workshop. It was a great experience for our daughter and we will be coming back again for another project for her to build.

Camp Mather

Thanks to Olga Quinn

Because we love the outdoors so much, we decided to make it our family’s goal to tour the United States and see as many of the state parks as we possibly could. We set our first goal all the way across the country at Yosemite. We tried to get into Camp Mather there, but it was a little two exclusive, so we settled for Evergreen Lodge. I know what you might be thinking. If we like the outdoors so much, why aren’t we camping at these parks or roughing it just a little bit more.

Let’s just say we like our comfort as much as the outdoors. We like to play outside during the day then sleep and relax inside. I hate to say it, but I don’t think my family could go without TV, air conditioning, and showers for more than a day or so. Thank goodness for Mather Dish TV. The lodge had all of the channels we were used to, which made for very happy campers at night and willing explorers by day.
