Garage Air Conditioner

That is the back of our garage. If you could see there is a White box. That is our air conditioner. Hubby hates it when the weather gets so hot and humid. That is why he decided to put an air conditioner in the garage. He does lots of things and he could not concentrate if it is too stinkin hot! 

Beautiful Spring!

I cannot believed that we are now in Spring. The trees, grass and flowers are back to life again. My husband indeed mowed our grass already the other week. My tulips have the flowers and to our surprise it has pink flowers while lasts year it has different colors. I bought the multi color because I want our garden to be colorful . How did it happen to have just one color of tulip this year? Something is really wrong with the weather. It was not a typical winter and now it is a very early spring and not much rain coming.

I bought this footless tights for myself and it is size medium. I was surprised to received it because it was short and very small. Air Conditioner Is Back On

Yesterday, the temperature was in 80 degrees both inside and outside the house. My husband came home from work, and he was hot. He would prefer winter over summer because he could not stand of a hot days and nights. Moving to Philippines will be a great challenge. There is Air Conditioner but it will only be in the house but outside it is all year sunny. 

He decided to turned the Air Conditioner on yesterday as he was sweating and even our daughter. They both could not stand to a temperature likes that. He did the cleaning, vacuuming and everything. He also put an electric fan in our bedroom and to our daughter's bedroom so that we could sleep well at nights. The temperature here in the house is cool and not too cold. Lasts night, we all slept well and woke up all in good mood. So thankful that Air Conditioner has been invented. I could live without Air Conditioner but not my husband and my daughter.

Grill Accessories

We are using our grill again. Every time, the day gets warm we are out for cooking. Taking advantage of the beautiful day. Spring season right now means plenty of rains and occasionally get lucky and turn into sunny day. I like when the foods are cook on the grill. They taste differently. Grilled pork and grilled fish are just some of my favorites to eat with rice. It brings me back from where i came from. My Filipino family likes to cook on the grill.

Our grill is over five years old but still in excellent condition. My husband takes good care of it. Never bought a new grill for replacement. We bought some grill accessories like grill brushes, grill thongs and little things. Lately, we bought another new brush for our grill we change and bought often and saw a bamboo skewers i got 100 pieces of them and shallow me the bamboo skewer excites me as a Filipino remind me of the banana sugar coated. We are all excited for summer time to come where we as a family can enjoys the warm and sunny day everyday. I love summer as the fun is limitless.

Walking In Cold Day

On our way back home, we saw a man walking up the road. It is a cold day and he was walking. He was dressed properly but he looks scary to us, he is a middle age man. He does not look clean, not groom.

Hope that he still have a family who can take care of him. We reached our driveway, went to the house and made something to eat for lunch. Our living room has a huge transparent window and people who walk up and down the road we can see them.

My husband was eating his food and he took a look at the window ad he said there is that guy. My GOD, it took 15 minutes for him to walked that far! I walk slow i do not have big steps but that guy was very, very slow.

Wagon, Leaves and Sticks

The family is going to be cleaning yards today since it is going to be a sunny day until tomorrow. We saw many of dried brown rotted piles of leaves all over the place and they are not good because mosquitoes like to stay!


Sticks are all over the yard from small to big pieces. Tomorrow is first day of spring. We are welcoming it by cleaning our yards. Wagon will be out and busy!

Spring Begins

Cold and freezing season really makes me hard to deal as i grew up in Philippines where you will experience hot and sunny day almost the whole year around.Rain comes but it does not get as cold here. The advantages of having warm season is that you can wear any clothes and you can spend time outside playing and cooking whatever you want under the sun. 



Every fall and especially winter our electric bill is soaring high which is so ridiculous and really makes our budget tighter. My husband bought this propane powered fireplace which was expensive to start with behind was our old fireplace that consumed coal and coal are very expensive buying it in tone. No savings in cold seasons and now, i am happy that spring will begins on the 20th meaning warm days will be experience and that means savings to us and that way we can minimize the usage of our fireplace and time to save electricity. 

Snowy Tuesday

Our very outgoing daughter who loves and enjoying the outdoor activities. She is always on the go like her daddy. She loves to play on the snow makes a snow ball and just everything.

Not afraid of getting so cold and staying longer though she is bundled up but still you will get cold especially when your gloves get wet and your face is over exposed. This was taken on our front porch and she had so much fun. 

Shopping Early

As a routine, we do our grocery shopping every Saturday with my daughter and husband as a family. We left home around 8:30 a.m. and headed to where we want to go. We even stop at Lowes for some of my husband's stuff. We got home early as a result of leaving early as we used to. 


Snow flurries was all over on our way but it stop on our way home and now it started again. The sun is out but it is windy and it is cold to be outside which i was planning originally of spending some time outside today but i guess might  just do it tomorrow.
