Mother's Day Surprise

An online friend of mine lives in Texas. She sent me a message through Facebook asking my mailing address. Our friendship  is not that close. We communicated through one group. She is a nice person I could tell. I gave her my mailing address, puzzled what for. I thought she was going to send me some guava as what we had talked before three months ago.

In regards with guava fruit, she already told me that she went to the store and there was no stock.  Anyway, Monday when I received something from her. A small envelope, very light and I was curious to find out what was inside. When I opened it, there was a photo of her beautiful daughter. It was sent for Mother's day! How lucky I am?! Thank's to her. She is very sweet!

Mom Pendant

I am very close to both my sister and my mom. Sadness that we cannot be all together because I chose this path to be away from them for my own good which I am very happy of my own choice. I have my beautiful and adorable kids and a very loving husband. I love this pendant that says "MOM" I am sure my mom will love this pendant. She is not  a big fan of jewelry. I buy her jewelry and that is how she got her jewelry. A perfect valentine gift.

A Birthday Card

My sister- in- law was here visiting us yesterday afternoon. My birthday will be sometime next week. She handed me a birthday card.  She is very updated and very active remembering each family member's birthday. She always send cards. She is a very thoughtful person. She also had her hair appointment with her hair dresser which is not too far from where we live. She told me that she will come back before Christmas together with her sister to bring the gifts that she bought for our daughter. We had a great time talking and catching up things. How I wish we live next to each other but she live 20 minutes away from us.

Happy Memorial Day

I bet everybody is busy thinking of what they are going to do and where to go this Memorial Day~ Enjoy and have the fun with your family! My husband is mowing the lawn taking advantage of a beautiful warm day I hope that there is no rain today as my husband missed watching the early news this morning but so far the sun is out and brightly shining.

No guest nor visitor today it is only our family to celebrate the holiday but just in a typical way. Grill some pork, hotdogs and Italian sausages, potato salad, vegetable salad and rice. Simple celebration and those food will surely make us stuff only the three of us. Happy Memorial Day to us!

Wedding Anniversary

I checked our mailbox and I saw an invitation card from our neighbor. The couple is married for 30 years today and their daughter is going to have a party for them. They are lucky to have a daughter likes her because she really appreciate and know how to value her parents. Lasts year, she also gave them a party where they invited all the people they knew and we were also invited. How I wish that our daughter will be like our neighbor's daughter to give us a party whenever we have our birthdays and wedding anniversary.

Congratulation to our neighbor and I am so happy for them. I hope that they will continue to live together and will create more memories as a husband and a wife and will continue to conquer all the trials and support each another. How I wish that every married couple will have a long lasting marriage but there are things that could happen and unfortunately causes the marriage to end.

The Precious Mothers

Happy Mother's Day to all mothers out there. To Jessica and Charisse, Happy Mother's Day my dear friends. I hope that your husband will give you something on the said occasion as you deserve it. I am not expecting anything from my husband but going out for dinner tonight will be good enough to celebrate the occasion.As a first time mothers, we conquered everything and facing the obstacles of being alone in this foreign countries. We thought that we are weak but we are wrong. My friends, we are stronger than we thought. Our children are now all growing and I knew how much thankful and lucky they are having a mom likes us.

To my mother, I love you with all my heart. You are always in my mind and you will always be my number one mother forever! We are parted but my thoughts and love is always there for you. Thank you for bringing me to this world and for always there for me no matter what. I take your advises seriously and because of those advises I achieved my dreams. Thank's for all the support that you had been given to me, mom. To my aunties, happy mother's day too!

Mothers Day Gift

Sunday, May 8th is Mother's Day a special day fro all mothers all over the world. The day where all mothers can get their break from cooking, doing household chores and taking care of the children. Mother's Day only come across once a year I knew that even father's day and other occasion only celebrated once a year. That why, each celebration is important and special. Ho w are you going to celebrate the mother's day? On my part, i have no idea if there is any celebration coming my way. I am not expecting too much about it. It is all up to my husband. It will be good to receive something special like a mother's day gift on the said occasion but i am not thinking about it so that if there is a mother's gift for me then that is special and that will makes me happier.

My  mother is not here and i would love to buy her something special on mother's day but she is half way around the world she lives in Philippines. The easiest thing i can do is to give her a call on Sunday she would love it more. I saw many interesting gifts for mother's day both physical stores and on the internet. I love the different styles, designs and colors of flowers the bouquet. They are expensive and they will not last long. For husbands and children out there who thinks of getting something for their mothers and wives you better start looking now for that special gifts. Browse online for your own convenient or if you love shopping to the mall you will see more.  I love mother's day I have been a mother for four years now though the husband, the kids and the household chores drive you crazy all the time but at the end of the day i am thankful and happy that i have my family with me.

Easter Bunny Candies

I was not expected from my husband to be home early yesterday. Glad i was quick and did turned the computer off before he knocks on the door. I knew he does not get mad of me being on the computer but for sure he would be surprised if he will see me still using the computer evens late in the afternoon. My husband knows i have the whole day access to our computer since i am a stay at home mom.

He came home and after five minutes he told our daughter to take a nap. I replied, and said it is not good for her to take her nap late in the afternoon. So, he revealed his secret and said he could not sneak out the candies in our house because our daughter is awake and the Easter bunny candies are waiting in the car. Too bad, no choice but to let those Easter bunny candies sleep over night in the car.

Then, there was a TV commercial featuring about Easter bunny candies, different flavors and shapes. Our daughter saw them and said, Daddy can i have some Easter bunny candies? My husband answered, yes honey! Easter bunny will come tomorrow which is Saturday at night to give you the Easter bunny candies. So our girl was very happy.

Later, she was being a kid. She was being bad doing things her way. Did not listened to her Mommy and Daddy. So, we told her that if she does not want to listened to her parents then Easter bunny will not come to give her candies. She walked away from us, went to the kitchen all be herself and was so quiet. She was emoting. It happened three times last night. My husband came to her carried and kissed her and i did too at some other time. Our daughter will be turning four soon and she is getting so sensitive.

Gift Set For Her

I bought this gift set last month for someone special who's dear to me. She does not have any idea. This is perfect because it has a watch, a wallet that i am positively sure that she will like because the design is not outrageous and a pen that she can use as she really needs it. She works and it involves a lot of writings the pen will be useful to her. Her birthday will be a month and months away from now but this gift set is a great deal so i purchased it  for her special day! 

 

Hearts Day

Valentines day is a heart day for everybody i would giggle to the thoughts that this particular occasion is being celebrated with couples, lovers and many of red colors, flowers and chocolates are so visible and saleable. Red is one of my favorite color and good  to know that there are still people celebrating LOVE.

My husband is a romantic person he always had something for me every valentines day not so expensive nor so big but definitely coming from his heart and his warm thoughts. Well, we do celebrate love all the time as a husband and wife each and everyday only February 14th is marked and being remembered and celebrated all over the world and it unites everybody to do the same things celebrating loves.

Have no idea what is going to happen tonight. Will i  receive something or what but if there is none i will be fine and still be thankful and still love my husband as ever. 

Her 3rd Birthday

Sitting on her picnic table whiles waiting the guests to arrive. Our daughter celebrated her third birthday in July 31st i forgot to post a picture from her birthday its been awhile now that i have not updated this blog, lazy me again.

Anyway, we had a great celebration and it was fun! Cakes, ice cream, spaghetti represents for life longevity Filipino believes. And other food to made the guests stomach full.

She is three and cannot be denied that she is growing more and more each day and her infancy was gone, part of history  but yet will be treasured and will be remembered like it only happened yesterday. Mommy and daddy are getting older and so our little princess.
